At Dufferin Aggregates, we want to be transparent and empower our community with information. We believe in two-way dialogue. More than anything, we want your input on how we operate at the quarry and how we can be a good neighbour to all members of the community. There are a variety of ways for you to get involved in the process and we encourage you to do so.
We would be happy to take the time to speak with you about anything related to the Acton Quarry and how we do business.
Usually once or twice a year, Dufferin hosts a public information session for local residents. You are invited to attend and ask representatives from Dufferin specific questions about the quarry, as well as have the opportunity to speak with environmental, geological and blasting engineers and noise, traffic and planning consultants.
If you are looking for something more, you may apply to become a member of the Dufferin Aggregates Community Liaison Committee. The CLC is a group of local residents who meet with Dufferin representatives every two months to talk about all things related to the quarry.
If you are interested in joining the Dufferin CLC or for more information on how to get involved, please email Kevin Mitchell or 416-788-0015.
